Sizing and Measurements Guide
Getting the right fit matters, a harness that's too loose can let your dog slip out, and one that's too tight can rub or restrict movement. Use the guide below to measure your dog and find the right size before you order.
How to measure your dog
You'll need a soft measuring tape (a piece of string and a ruler works too). Measure with your dog standing normally, not sitting or stretched.
1. Neck — wrap the tape around the base of the neck, where a collar would normally sit. Leave enough room to fit two fingers flat between the tape and your dog's neck.
2. Chest / girth — wrap the tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. This is usually the measurement that matters most for harness fit.
3. Weight — use your dog's current weight as a cross-check against the chart below, especially if the neck/chest measurements fall between two sizes.
Tip: if your dog is between two sizes, we generally recommend sizing up, especially for breeds that are still growing or have a stockier build.
Size chart - Supa Harness
| Size | Neck (cm) | Chest (cm) | Recommended weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|
| XS | 25 - 53cm | 28 - 58cm | 2,27 - 4,54kg |
| S | 29 - 47cm | 34 - 67cm | 4,99 - 11,34kg |
| M | 36 - 50cm | 42 - 80cm | 11,34 - 18,14kg |
Checking the fit once it arrives
- You should be able to fit two fingers flat between the harness and your dog's body at the neck and chest.
- The harness shouldn't shift side to side or ride up toward the throat when your dog pulls.
- Watch your dog's movement for the first few minutes — if a leg strap rubs or the chest strap sits too far forward, it may be the wrong size.
If the fit isn't right, you can return or, see our Returns and Refunds page. Since we can only accept items in like-new condition, we'd suggest doing this fit check indoors, before removing tags or letting your dog wear it outside.
